Miranda Ortiz is an associate at Keller, O’ Reilly, & Watson, bringing with her a background in both insurance defense and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Miranda worked as a Law Clerk at a prominent insurance defense firm. She currently concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, general liability, and premises liability cases.
Miranda earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2024. During Law School, she worked as a student attorney advocating for immigrants facing potential deportation. She also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for a justice in the Supreme Court. Miranda was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Family Law Society, and Hofstra Law Women’s Society. Miranda holds her B.A. in Government and Politics from Saint John’s University, graduating in 2016. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2025.
Outside of the office, Miranda enjoys staying active at the gym, reading and cheering on her favorite sport teams- the New York Giants, New York Yankees and New York Rangers.
